I'm going to be heading out for a few days to gather soil, fauna, and other samples at the North Settlement. It's going to take a couple of days, so Felix, no having sex in my bed. Not even as payback. Sarah, Alison — I'll bring something fun back for a little science lesson with Kira, Oscar, and Gemma.

Can we all collectively agree not to warp reality or cause earthquakes or, I don't know, blow up the mountain for at least two weeks? Please? Some of us aren't from magical fairy worlds where that kind of bullshit happens every Tuesday. For all you all know, I've got a heart condition and all this stress is just slowly killing me.

Anybody got advice on recovering a voice that's gone all croaky and nonexistent? I've already got a belly ache from too much honey in my tea.

LET ME MAKE ONE THING CLEAR: MOUNT WEATHER COMMUNITY THEATER WILL BE RESUMING REHEARSALS ON TUESDAY.

We are not letting this break us, people. Come to rehearsal tomorrow, we'll be reviewing everything that we probably forgot and catching up and figuring out where to go from here. This is going to be a team effort and I'm going to need all hands on deck. Cast, crew, everyone. I'd make cupcakes, but we've got to pay attention to rations right now, so no cupcakes. I still expect to see all of you!

We're going to hit the ground running and get this up in two weeks. That means long rehearsals, extra rehearsals, working outside of rehearsals. We can do it!

She wasn't at rehearsal on Thursday, I've been messaging her. Is she gone? Not again I can't have actors disappearing into thin air, we have a show to do.

I mean, I am sorry if this place and its weirdness means that really was my fault, but help me out here, Poe. Alison is probably gonna murder me in my sleep.

So this is the first time in awhile (including pre-Mt. Weather) that I've actually had my own clothes to wear. And I actually think I may've outgrown this whole grungy rebel teen thing, considering the fact that I'm careening towards my mid-thirties.

I mean, obviously keeping most of it, but still. Maybe some of these fishnets ought to be donated to the rubbish bin, unless Kira has some crafty use for them.

I will be sending all of you a rehearsal schedule - we start this Tuesday, March 1. Scripts and music will be sent to your tablets. Everyone on crew should be looking to Cullen, he'll be your commander from now until April.

Attention, everyone! Auditions for Little Shop of Horrors are today in the gymnasium! To accommodate everyone's work schedules, I'll be there from lunch time onward, so stop by with a song in your heart and a spring in your step!

We'll also be doing crew requests with our stage manager, Cullen Rutherford, so even if you don't want to sing and dance, stop by anyway and see him.

Even if you've never been on stage before, this is a great community enrichment opportunity and way to make friends. We've just lost a lot of people, including a few of our veteran actors, so we'll need all hands on deck for this one, okay? Give it a shot, first-timers!

Auditions for Little Shop of Horrors are tomorrow, so tonight we'll be watching the movie version in the 501 commons after dinner. The endings are very different (I assume Alison's sticking to the script of the musical) but it will give you an idea of what it's all about, anyway. It's not really what I'd call a family movie, but kids down to about 12 who've been dealing okay with everything here will probably be okay as long as they know going in it's a bit dark.

If anyone has a classic movie from the 80s they'd particularly like to see next week, let me know.

Hello, Mount Weather! Two things:

I'm happy to announce that auditions for Little Shop of Horrors are coming up at the end of the month! Mark your calendars for February 25th, where we'll be holding open auditions in the gym after dinner hours.

If you're nervous about your audition, you could see Sir Galavant, who's generously providing singing lessons.

Second, Felix and I have put together welcome packets for all new arrivals to Mount Weather, which includes a pamphlet about all of the fun things to do here if we're not under attack. Also included in the packet are two bars of my handmade soap, three packets of dandelion herb tea, and a customised painted mug courtesy of our own Felix Dawkins (which, yes, we took from the kitchens, but they will be used).

I delivered the packets to medical last week, so all new arrivals should have received one upon waking up. If you didn't, please swing by medical or see me in Civilian Services to receive one!

Please come! Party games include charades, twenty questions, Pictionary, and a whole host of improv games that actors do. Alcohol is permitted but not necessarily encouraged. I am not avoiding Valentine's Day
